Time Travelin'

Hello everyone!

Long time, no post! This summer has been a whirlwind of craziness... Time hasn't even felt real. I've been home since June and we're already approaching August. My intentions were to spend more time sharing on here (which I am working on a few things)... but this summer has seriously slipped away! I hope to keep creating some more content for the upcoming months because there is really nothing I love more than sharing with you guys.

I waited a little while to share this look but this dress has been one of my favorites to wear! It's from H&M and falls slightly above the ankle.

I'm not someone who particularly leans towards blues, but I just couldn't pass on this polka dotted find! As someone who loves thrifting and vintage everything, it was fun to find a piece that was reminiscent of another decade. This dress just screamed 40s/50s, mostly because of the neckline and sleeve (kind of a longer puff/cap sleeve look). It even just felt older by how the dress fell.

I think it's important to remember that you can find unique pieces with character in your fast fashion retailers...As much as I love thrifting, I don't always have the time for it and I can't always afford vintage clothing either. Keep your eyes open and you never know what you may stumble upon, and it may just take you to the place you've always wanted to go!

I've said for the longest time that I felt like I could've lived decades ago.. that I was an old soul... I've always been drawn to old technology (whether it be telephones, records or even typewriters) and when it comes to clothing.. I want nothing to do with whats modern... Of course my wardrobe is modern because I live in 2017, but thats why I love fashion... Because you can time travel and find pieces that have character like no other!

Hope you felt a little inspired to look for pieces with that will be able to give your style a different dimension...

Until next time,

Morgan Wynne
